EVO Denver / the sacred shred

Large Format Graphic Design & Print Production

I partnered with my friend Ian Fohrman, a talented photographer and outdoorsman, to create a large-format environmental installation for evo Denver’s flagship store. The project spans 26-feet wide by 7.5-feet tall across 12 retail fixtures, requiring careful management and compositing of 24 photographs from Ian's portfolio of mountain biking imagery. Together, we created a seamless narrative that wraps the store's rental equipment area. The installation embodies Ian's mission of connecting viewers with the natural world while serving evo's commitment to thoughtful community engagement.

IAN’s Artist Statement:

I feel our connection with the planet on which we depend (in mind, body, and spirit), is fraying. We increasingly and mistakenly feel separate from the world of which we’re a part. Biking, skiing, hunting and photography all have a special way of pulling me closer to it all. I hope these images help convey that feeling and connect you more closely to the universe and the achingly beautiful world we inhabit.

Evo Wall

This big photo wall has been in evo Denver for about a year. I’m so proud of this piece and honored to be included in anything evo. The inimitable Drew Clark helped me with the layout and graphic design.
